Let’s Show Our Strength on January 7th
Dear Sisters, Brothers, and Friends:
On January 7, CUPE is hosting a national virtual townhall with all five candidates for the federal NDP leadership.
This is a crucial moment for our movement.
The next leader of Canada’s pro-worker party will help shape the future of our public services, our rights at work, and the priorities of working people in this country. This townhall is our chance to hear directly from the candidates — and to ensure they hear from us.
Date: Wednesday, January 7, 2026
Time: 7:30 p.m. Eastern / 4:30 p.m. Pacific (please adjust for your local time zone)
Location: Zoom (link will be sent after registration)
Moderators: Mark Hancock & Candace Rennick
Here’s how your local or division can help:
- Attend the townhall and encourage others to do the same
- Promote the event in your member communications (email, social media, website)
- Share this registration link with members and allies: https://cupe.ca/cupe-votes-townhall-federal-ndp-leadership-candidates
When CUPE members show up, we send a powerful message:
Working people are watching, organizing — and ready to shape the future.
Let’s make our voices heard.
In solidarity,
